Welcome to Neil Adams Photography.co.uk.

I am based in Tavistock, Devon. I specialise in Weddings and Lifestyle Portraiture, although I undertake work on behalf of several different commercial clients, ranging from Press and Public Relations to Construction stage work. Theatrical and stage photography is something I have been doing for about four years, my experience as a press photographer helping greatly with working in low light and making the most of whats available.

I have a degree in photography, gained at Plymouth. Since then I have worked as a Staff newspaper photographer, a freelance press photographer, a civillian photographer in the armed forces and for the past ten years I have been in charge of myself.

I photograph weddings all over Devon and Cornwall, and have been known to venture as far as London or further on request. I dont advertise, all work comes by word of mouth.

I have photographed weddings for over 10 years now, my photographic style, sense of fun and organisational skills have developed through these ten years, to provide couples with a free flowing day without the usual annoying, bossy photographer complaints by guests when they finally sit down for their meal.

I mix traditional and modern approaches to the day, photographing groups quickly, without the traditional hours of standing and waiting for the photographer to get themselves together, whilst still collecting the quick snapshots in time that make your album more fun and interesting to look at in years to come.

My favourite comment from clients is that they forgot that I had a camera, and felt relaxed and comfortable all day. You have to spend a lot of time with your Photographer and he or she can make or break your day, so I always ensure that the client comes first and that the pictures are great because the day was great!

I am able to offer a wide range of post event services, including bespoke framing, box canvasses, books and albums.

For all services including wedding photography, I cover Tavistock, Okehampton, Yelverton, Dartmoor, Plymouth, Ivybridge, Kingsbridge, South Hams, Exeter, Saltash, in fact all of Devon, Cornwall and bits of Somerset.
